Barry Crocker, awarded an 'Order of Australia' in 1987 for services to the Australian entertainment industry and to charity, is correctly regarded as one of the 'greats' in the Australian entertainment industry. This recognition from the public and his peers is richly deserved, respect earned throughout a career spanning several decades. His immense talents as a fine singer, comic, impressionist and dramatic actor shine through all of his performances, captivating audiences, not only in Australia, but the UK and America as well.

His milestone of achievements in life have been earmarked with numerous awards where he won four Logies including the Gold Logie for Most Popular TV Personality in 1969; two Entertainer of the Year Awards; four 'Mo' Awards; one 'Sammy' and a 'Penguin'; and thirty-three Gold Records.

Barry's career includes a comprehensive recording history, numerous television appearances in Australia, the UK and America, national and international concert performances. Variety cabaret, lead roles in live theatre productions and the star lead in two classic Australian movies that have become ground breaking icons of Australian cinema, 'The Adventures of Barry McKenzie' and 'Barry McKenzie Holds His Own'. It is almost impossible to fully document all of Barry's career achievements, but the condensed history is truly impressive, accentuating his superb talents. What it cannot do is demonstrate the quality and professionalism of Barry's live performance on stage, something that has to be experienced, savoured and cherished.

Concert performances include a four week season at MGM Grand Hotel, in Las Vegas; Sahara Hotel, Lake Tahoe; The Village Barn and The Bonsoir, New York; Talk of the Town and Palace Theatre, London; participated in a concert for UNICEF at the UN Headquarters, New York with Dame Sutherland and Richard Bonynge, directed by Sir Robert Helpmann; and appeared live across America from Las Vegas in three Jerry Lewis Telethon's with the likes of Frank Sinatra, Tony Bennett, Dean Martin etc.

Television includes the 'Barry Crocker Show', Network Ten for two years; host of Barry Crocker's 'Sound of Music', Nine Network for two years; compere of 'Saturday Variety' on British television; hosted two Eurovision television specials for BBC Television; guest star on Britain's 'Harry Secombe Show' and 'Stars on Sunday'; was also host for six years on 'Carols in the Domain' with Seven Network.

Theatre Performances have included the lead role as Jerry Ryan in "See Saw" in America with Michelle Lee and Tommy Tune; male lead in 'Scapino' (JC Williams); lead role in 'Mother's Day (Social Security)' with June Salter and Katy Manning; Australian tour, one man show tribute to Banjo Paterson 'Barry Crocker's Banjo', the role of Frank in 'Educating Rita' with Katy Manning; the 'narrator' in the 'Rocky Horror Show' in Star City Sydney and in 2004 starred in the new Australian musical 'Eureka'.

From 2005-2007, traveled throughout Australia and New Zealand, playing the role of 'Lazer Wolfe' in Topol's 'Fiddler on the Roof'

Barry Crocker has enjoyed success throughout an outstanding career, richly deserving the great reviews that follow in his wake. The bible of the American entertainment industry, 'Variety', summed him up when reviewing both his singing and television appearances, as 'Another Hot Australian Export.'
